Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2 October 2026
automatenmax.com should be easy for everyone to use – with a mouse, a keyboard or a screen reader, on a large screen or on a phone.
This English text is a courtesy translation – in case of doubt, the German version (Erklärung zur Barrierefreiheit) applies.
01 What this statement covers
This statement applies to the website automatenmax.com in German and English. When building it, we are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA.
02 What we do
Using the website
- Links, menus, forms and expandable questions can be operated with the keyboard. A clear outline shows where the focus currently is.
- At the top of each page, a “Skip to content” link takes you straight to the main content.
- Buttons and links outside running text are designed to be at least 48 px high, so they are easy to tap on a phone as well.
- You can zoom in using your browser; the layout adapts.
Reading and understanding
- Every page has a clear heading structure and breadcrumb navigation that shows where you are.
- The language of each page is marked up (German or English) so that screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- Colours and font sizes are designed to meet the contrast ratios of WCAG level AA.
- Information never depends on colour alone: a location’s status, such as “Open 24/7”, is always shown as text too.
- Purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers. Links to Google Maps are marked as opening in a new tab.
- The location map is a schematic drawing with a text description. All locations are also listed as text, for example on the Locations page.
Forms and motion
- Every form field has a visible label, and required fields are marked. Confirmations and error messages after sending are announced to screen readers.
- Motion is used sparingly. If you have turned on “Reduce motion” in your operating system, you will not see any animations.
03 Known limitations
- “Get directions” opens Google Maps, an external website. Its accessibility is outside our control.
- The English legal texts are translations; in case of doubt, the German version applies.
- This statement covers the website, not access to the machines on site. We are happy to answer questions about a specific location by phone.
04 How this statement was prepared
This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out while the website was being built in October 2026. No assessment by an external body has taken place so far. If anything significant changes on the website, we will update this statement.
05 Report a barrier
